The four price bands in Lahore
Almost every quote you receive in Lahore falls into one of four bands. The gap between them is not the camera — it is how many people are covering your day, how many events they cover, and how much editing happens afterwards.

What actually changes your quote
Two couples can be quoted very different prices by the same studio. These are the levers, roughly in order of how much they move the number:
- —Number of events — a single nikah is a different job from mehndi, baraat and walima across three days.
- —Team size — a second photographer roughly doubles the moments captured (bride and groom sides at once) and is the biggest single price step.
- —Hours on site — most packages cap coverage at 6–8 hours per event; long baraats run over.
- —Drone and video — aerials and a wedding film are separate crafts with separate people.
- —Albums and prints — a hand-bound album is a real cost; digital-only delivery is cheaper.
- —Season — November to February weekends in Lahore book first, and rates are firmest then.
- —Travel — shoots outside Lahore add transport and sometimes accommodation.

Do you need a wedding film too?
Videography is usually priced separately. In the Lahore market a short highlight reel is commonly quoted at PKR 40,000–60,000, and a full cinematic film at PKR 150,000–250,000 or more. Basil Studios wedding videography starts from PKR 55,000 for a highlight reel of one event, PKR 145,000 for two events with two videographers, drone and a 3-minute film, and PKR 325,000 for a full multi-day documentary-style film.
If the budget only stretches to one, choose photography with a same-day highlight reel — it gives you the prints and the shareable moment.
How to compare two quotes fairly
A lower number is only cheaper if it buys the same thing. Ask every photographer the same seven questions:

- —Is drone coverage included for outdoor venues?
- —Is there a same-day or next-day highlight reel?
- —Is an album included, and how many pages?

When to book
Book as soon as your date is fixed. Winter wedding season in Lahore runs from November to February, and Saturday and Sunday dates go first. At Basil Studios a signed booking sheet and holding fee lock your date on our calendar; until then the date is held but not confirmed.
