Dholkis are usually evening gatherings at home with warm, mixed indoor light, singing around the dholak and plenty of movement, so we bring lighting to keep skin tones and colours true, and carry backup cameras and memory on every shoot.
- Is engagement coverage the same as a pre-wedding shoot?
- No. Engagement coverage documents the mangni itself — the families, the rings and the rasm — as it happens. A pre-wedding shoot is a separate, styled 2-hour couple session, delivered as 40–60 retouched frames within 2 weeks. Many couples book both.
- How early should we book a mangni photographer in Lahore?
- As soon as the date is fixed. Many families hold the mangni and dholkis during the November–February wedding season, when weekend evenings go first.
